So I've set some new years resolutions this year. I never usually do but I figure that when you set goals and write them out you are much more likely to actually do them. I've thought about a lot of things in my life I would like to work on and and set a few goals for myself to help.
1. Attend more of my church meetings
2. Exercise 5 days a week for at least 30 min
3. Eat healthier
4. Cook more
5. Socialize, meet new people, and make friends
6. Spend more time with my family
So far I have done pretty well with working towards my goals. I have gone to almost all my meetings. I got a gym pass and have been to the gym at least 5 days each week. I also am cooking more good meals and also eating healthier snacks throughout the day. I have made small steps towards meeting new people in my ward at various activities and also at school. Spending time with my family is tough since I live so far away from them but I try to call more often "just to chat" instead of only when I need to ask someone something. I also have signed up to run a half marathon with a friend. This has helped me really focus on exercising daily. I hope that I can focus on my goals throughout the year and not just for a few weeks or months.
